Bidders can go to the list of items here and begin putting their years of eBay practice to good use. Each item has a minimum bid. Among the items is a 10-day world cruise worth a cool $30,000 with an opening bid a mere third of that. There is also a stand-up bass painted by Carl Groh featuring the likenesses of Michael Doucet, Zachary Richard, Sonny Landreth and Roddie Romero in oil; paintings by Robert Lewis Perkins, a woman's TAG Heuer watch as well as an art deco pendant.
All of the money raised from these donated items go to benefit the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, enabling them to have bigger and better performances as well as furthering the education they provide in classes to local kids. Bidding ends at 10 a.m. Dec. 16, just in time to stuff someone's stocking with something awesome.
