UL Lafayette's award-winning College of Nursing and Allied Professions celebrated its 60th year with a big blowout at the UL Alumni House.

UL Lafayette's award-winning College of Nursing and Allied Professions celebrated its 60th year with a big blowout at the UL Alumni House. Alumni from classes dating back to the '50s joined the festivities and paid tribute to the nursing school's outstanding achievements in excellence over the last six decades.

The Lafayette Bar Association rolled into the Roosevelt in New Orleans for the 2011 Bench/Bar Conference. Concluding the two days of socializing and seminars was an elegant dinner at the historic Blue Room with live jazz music from Lafayette's own Jeremy Benoit and his band. Ladies and gents were dressed to the nines for the glitzy soiree.
