U.S. Rep. Jeff Landry, R-New Iberia, has received another endorsement in his as-yet undeclared challenge against Rep. Charles Boustany, R-Lafayette.

CHANGE!!! for the Better, a federally registered conservative political action committee, recently announced its support for Landry, calling the freshman solon an "honest representative. A trustworthy person. A person with real experience in life."

Do to federal redistricting following the 2010 census, Landry's current 3rd Congressional District was eliminated and combined with the current 7th District Boustany has represented since 2003. The combined district will be known as the 3rd CD. Boustany has already signalled that he intends to seek re-election. Landry has been mum, although all signs point to a contest between the two this fall.
