It's On! Downtown Alive is a go

Downtown Lafayette Unlimited's meteorologist says it'll be cloudy and cool but rain shouldn't be a problem.

Downtown Lafayette Unlimited's meteorologist says it'll be cloudy and cool but rain shouldn't be a problem. So, the kick-off for the 2012 Spring Downtown Alive! concert series will go on as planned.

First out of the gate today will be a swamp pop extravaganza featuring Warren Storm, Willie Tee & Cypress with special guest G.G. Shinn at Parc International. The venue opens at 5:30 with food/beverage concessions. The music runs from 6-8:30 p.m. The free concert series is supported by concession sales so leave the ice chests at home. Leave the pets and the bad attitude at home, too.
