Katrena A. Porter and Brenton I. Mims have joined the law firm of Simien & Miniex as associate attorneys; both practices will concentrate on personal injury cases and outside counsel for a variety of clients.
Porter is a graduate of UNO, where she earned a BA degree in anthropology. In May 2015 she received her juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center. Mims graduated from Southern University A&M College, earning a BA degree in history. In May 2015 he also received his juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center.
