New administrator comes to Lafayette from Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Fla.

W. Bryan Lee has joined Our Lady of Lourdes as Chief Executive Officer. Lee takes over the position May 1, replacing Bud Barrow, who retired earlier this year after more than a decade as the 186-bed hospital’s top administrator.

Lee has extensive hospital operations and strategic physician relations experience, having most recently served as chief operating officer and interim CEO of 332-bed Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Fla. He has also served as COO of Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Ala., and as division vice president, CEO and COO for Select Medical, a national organization operating 102 long-term care hospitals in 28 states.

Lee served as an administrative resident at Huntsville Health System in Huntsville, Ala., upon completion of his master of science in health care administration and MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Alabama.

“I have been extremely impressed with how Lourdes is upholding its long-standing promise to deliver high quality clinical care and best practice outcomes that are mission focused,” Lee says in a press release. “My wife and I sought a place to raise our boys with sense of community and family values. We are excited to call Acadiana home and look forward to getting involved in the community.”
