The "Buy a Board to Help Build the Park!" fundraisers seeks $100 donations, each of which allows the patr

Trippy prints, funky cuts, handmade jewelry combines for eclectic chic   I love something about a flowy piece with a funky print - add some equally funky shoes and too many bracelets and I'm a happy gal. There are few lines in the world that do this big funky flowy thing with a retro twist like Show Me Your Mumu. One of our favorite reps rolls out a new show Come Saturday the gallery at Lounge will be home to a collection of eclectic artwork. A stable of artists filled with talent, each unique. Each represented by the talented Jeffery McCullough. Some of those artists have been featured in these very pages (remember the beautiful piece from Kelli Kaufman in November's IND Monthly? or Mallory Page gracing the IND's cover some month's ago?) and many have

And we'll be watching.   Party Girl is hitting the Mardi Gras scene like never before and while we are certainly there to get some partying done, we do have loftier goals in mind. We are, simply put, on the hunt for the most independent, fantastic dressers on the scene. We'll be snapping pics and giving you dear readers a chance to vote and we're asking you to join us. Just send a pic of you (or a fabulously dressed friend) to amandab@theind.
