Cecil Trahan's Parkview Towers, a mixed-use residential development planned for the vacant lot in front of the downtown parking garage, appears to be back on track after the project stalled several years ago for unknown reasons.

Though construction has yet to begin, a sign was erected recently in front of the site showing a rendering of the seven-story development.

Dubbed as a "mixed-use community," the first floor of Parkview Towers, according to the sign, will be reserved for retail, while the remaining six stories will be available as "Live-Work Condos," all starting at $169,500.

ABiz called Todd and Chad Trahan, whose names and numbers are listed as contacts on the sign. We've yet to hear back but will keep you posted once more details are made available.
