Acadiana 365’s Pick of the Day: Cole Bros. Circus

The circus is coming to town for one day only when the 129th Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars comes to the SugArena in New Iberia.

The Cole Bros. Circus is bringing its classic, American-style circus show to Acadiana this Wednesday complete with complete with elephants, tigers, thrilling aerialists and acrobats, mystifying magic and hilarious clowns.

The Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars' performance features Princess Vicenta's surreal assemblage of white tigers, majestic elephants with special guest star-siblings, Babies Val and Hugo, and for the first time ever in the U.S., the international award-winning high-wire artistry of Columbia's Tabares Troupe. The show also features daredevil stunts including ThunderDrome, the moto-globe of death, and The Human Cannonball, who bursts from the barrel of The World's Largest Cannon at lightening velocity.

The Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars visits the Acadiana Fairgrounds, located at 713 Northwest Bypass Hwy 3212 in New Iberia, for one day only on Wednesday, Oct. 23, with performances at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are free for children under 13.
