Southern Apparel picked up by new retailer

The ever-clever designs of Joel Hebert are officially on the move. The man who helms Lafayette's Southern Apparel - a line of uber clever southern-inspired goods - announced this week that his products are being launched with national retailer Country Outfitter.

The newest collection will be available through the Arkansas-based retailer in what Hebert says is a big step for the line.

"We are humbled and honored to be given this opportunity at such an early stage in our young company's growth," Hebert says.

Country Outfitter is a country lifestyle apparel retailer that carries well known brands including Wrangler, Dickies and Timberland.

Hebert describes Southern Apparel as "made in the sticks and built from original hand-painted artwork, Southern Apparel produces designer-wear for young adults. Check out the full collection at www.southern-apparel.com.
