JUN 20 Here's an open letter to Bobby Jindal from a lady who says she's mad on the xculture blog. In it, she explains why she's mad, and it's mostly to do with Jindal signing an anti-abortion law and calling it protection for women. And she's not just ranting here -- she's got lots of information, with sources, as well.

JINDAL'S GRANDSTANDING CREATES A MESS
JUN 20 Here's a post on the Picayune by Captain Obvious: When Gov. Jindal decided to announce he was dumping Common Core and related tests, he created a massive mess. Why? Because teachers must have a curriculum to follow and kids have to be tested because that's all we do now, but now we don't have any of that - and school starts in about seven weeks. This post does a good job of breaking down the political implications here.
