One of them is Paul Kemp, who supports the flood board's lawsuit seeking to hold oil and gas companies accountable for coastal damage.
Kemp has re-applied for the board, but Gov. Bobby Jindal - who chooses from among the committee's nominees - has made it clear he would favor a lawsuit opponent.
