If you want to avoid lines at your polling place on Nov. 4, parish registrar of voters offices begin accepting early voting on Tuesday for the congressional primary and the other races and a bushel of proposed amendments to the state constitution. Early voting runs from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Tuesday, Oct. 28; the registrars will be closed on Sunday.
