We received the news this morning and we’re to sad to say: Carol Fran and Major Handy and his Louisiana Soul Revue will not be performing at this evening’s Downtown Alive! due to nasty weather. On the sunny side, Carol's performance has been rescheduled for May 22 at Parc Sans Souci.
We were looking forward to this one, but on the bright side, downtown Lafayette’s Kate Durio, who announced tonight's cancellation, did offer several alternative, indoor activities for the evening:
[C]heck out Pine Leaf Boys & Bonsoir Catin tonight at Blue Moon!
Or Rayo Brothers tonight at Artmosphere — the first show with their new fiddle player Sarah Jayde Williams! Rocky & The Grasshoppers kick it off at 10pm sharp.
