Letters to the Editor

DON'T RESORT TO NAME-CALLING

I would like to express my deep displeasure with The Independent Weekly and with Rebecca Watson's letter to the editor ("IndBox: That Little Tin-Horn Despot," July 12) calling for taking out Ray Authement in a used Volkswagen like Emperor Haile Selassie. I am all for freedom of expression, but when you call for someone's demise, that is way beyond the right of expression and freedom of the press. She also called Authement names; I will not resort to that. Also, Watson was historically incorrect on her facts about Haile Selassie's death.
