People across Acadiana can help families meet their basic need for food by participating in the 17th Annual National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger food drive in partnership with United Way of Acadiana. Just place a bag of non-perishable food items near your mailbox Saturday, May 9, and your postman will do the rest.
All food collected as part of Stamp Out Hunger day will be delivered to food banks serving Acadiana. Last year’s event raised 30,000 pounds of food for Acadiana.
