DAILY ADDICTION

I would like to comment about your article on Dandy Don's Web site ("Fever Pitch," Aug. 16). I grew up in Louisiana and was a season ticket holder until the age of 19 when my family moved to Arizona. After moving here, I longed for LSU sports information, since we get very limited coverage here. My brother-in-law, who lives in Slidell, told me about this great Web site, and I became addicted. It is saved in my "favorites" on my home computer and at work, and I check it daily.

Two things I would like to point out ' Dandy always answers every e-mail, and he makes you feel as if you are his best friend, even for people like me who have never met him. I just would like to thank him for helping me stay "in the know" when it comes to LSU sports, something I don't get to see much here in the desert.

Dandy is a great man who loves to share his LSU information and love with others. But Dandy doesn't have readers of his Web site, he has friends. That's what he considers anyone who bleeds purple and gold like he does.
