Wow, I read this article on my lunch hour ("Slipping Through the Cracks," June 13), and I just grew so numb. You see it, but you don't realize how close it is to us. Thanks to Dege Legg for humbling himself enough to take this experience and share it with us. I go to church every Sunday and thank God for his blessings of a home, a job, and food on my table. To read this makes me so sad for these people.
