Castille announces re-election bid

City-Parish Councilman Jay Castille wants four more years on the job. City-Parish Councilman Jay Castille wants four more years on the job. The District 2 rep has announced that he will seek re-election to a second four-year term on the council this fall.

Castille served as council chairman in 2010. A retired fire fighter and currently a general contractor/land developer, Castille is a member of the Carencro Business Association, past president of Gateway Kiwanis, past chairman of the board for Maple Federal Credit Union, a member of the Louisiana Municipal Association, the Acadian Home Builders Association, the Louisiana Police Jury Association and the Professional Fire Fighters Association of Louisiana.
