The AcA's first Artist in Residence Paige Krause's modern dance piece debuts Saturday during Festival International.

The Acadiana Center for the Arts' first Artist in Residence Paige Krause's modern dance piece debuts this Saturday during Festival International.

I've Stopped Having That Dream I've Been Having was developed by Krause in and for the James D. Moncus Theatre in the AcA. Krause is a choreographer who has collaborated with many other actors and musicians in Lafayette. The music for this piece was written by composer and musician Philippe Landry. Esther Winn Burley, Kara St. Clair, Jamie Faulk, Brian Guidry and Chad Trahan perform I've Stopped Having That Dream I've Been Having at 3:30 p.m. on April 30.

During festival weekend, with so many locals who never visit downtown and tourists who are new to the area, the AcA is trying to highlight the visual arts as well. It's a great way to showcase the talent we have and the state-of-the-art Moncus Theatre. Keep your peepers open for the visual as well as auditory arts this weekend all around downtown Lafayette. Suggested donation is $5.
