The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity at UL is offering seniors in high school the chance to apply for scholarships through the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's National High School Essay Contest. The frat has 12 districts broken into clusters of states across the U.S. Each chapter of Omega Psi Phi will mail the best essays submitted to them to its district heads and from there the best will make it to the national chapter. The national chapter will make the final decisions. The last chance to enter is by mailing an essay postmarked no later than Nov. 1.

The four scholarships available range from $500 to $3,000.
