Ben Roberts has been named the Hilton Lafayette's SMERF sales manager. A graduate of UL Lafayette, he has been in the hospitality industry since 2004, working at a variety of hotels in South Louisiana, including the Ritz Carlton and Roosevelt hotels in New Orleans.

Drs. John P. Schutte and E. Scott Yerger, both orthopedic surgeons, have joined Lafayette General Health System. Schutte is principle medical director of Lafayette General Medical Center Orthopedic Services, and Yerger is medical director for the total joint subspecialty. Both physicians are assisting in the development of clinical pathways and in establishing procedures and clinical progression protocols to ensure the consistency and quality of all orthopedic services. Lafayette General also announced that psychologist Glenn Ally, Ph.D., has joined Cancer Center of Acadiana. A member of the American Psychological Association, Ally has decades of medical psychology and clinical neuropsychology experience. He also is a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Glenn McCall** has been promoted to engineering leader at Fenstermaker. He has worked for the company since 1998 and is now directly responsible for the Lafayette engineering team's daily operations. His group comprises more than 35 engineers, technicians and construction inspectors supporting three Louisiana municipalities, as well as Lafayette Consolidated Government. McCall graduated from UL Lafayette with dual degrees in civil engineering and agricultural engineering. His experience includes leading numerous projects in roadway and design, sports and recreation facilities, and structural design in support of the petrochemical and oil and gas industry, including the largest land-based drill rig in Louisiana. McCall has also been serving as city engineer for Carencro since 2007 and completed the city's new water treatment facility. Also at Fenstermaker, Alex Guillory, a project engineer, and Andy Sellers, a unit manager for the company's advanced technologies team, passed their P.E. exams to become professional engineers in Louisiana. Guillory works primarily with the hydrologic and hydraulic team on modeling projects and report preparations. He has a BS degree from McNeese State University and a master's degree in engineering in water resources from Texas A&M University. Sellers transferred and advanced into a supervisory position in advanced technologies after six years with Fenstermaker. His main responsibilities include managing tasks and directing daily activities according to the team's established goals and project objectives. He has a BS in civil engineering from UL Lafayette.

Angela Scott was named office manager at the New Iberia office of Van Eaton & Romero, replacing Joanie Kraker, a New Iberia real estate industry veteran, who has retired. Van Eaton & Romero opened its Admiral Doyle Drive location in 2006.

Yvette Davis** has joined Lourdes Foundation as the development officer responsible for identifying, developing and cultivating major funds that support the foundation's mission and programs.  With over two decades of health care marketing experience, she has an extensive background in developing referral resources for various start-up health care projects. She most recently served as the physician relations specialist at the Cyberknife Center - Louisiana. She received a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in sociology from LSU, and a master's in public relations with a minor in marketing management from UL Lafayette.

Alissa Sarradet has joined LAGCOE as communication specialist, focusing on communication programs including the website, social media and internal and external organization coordination. Sarradet has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in organizational communication from UL Lafayette and is active in the community, having worked in support of Americorps, Faith House, Cornerstone and Our Lady of the Oaks Nursing Home, Relay for Life, Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic, Children's Museum of Acadiana and St. Joseph Diner. She has also made multiple mission trips to Mexico.
