Robichaux named head of Youngsville Parks & Rec

With a state-of-the-art Sports Complex set for completion by the end of this year, the city of Youngsville has named Tim Robichaux director of its parks and recreation department.

With a state-of-the-art Sports Complex set for completion by the end of this year, the city of Youngsville has named Tim Robichaux director of its parks and recreation department.

Robichaux took the helm of Youngsville's parks and rec department this month after working 14 years as the director of parks and rec for the city of Crowley.

According to a release from the city of Youngsville:

[Robichaux] will aid in the oversight of the construction of the Sports Complex and will be responsible for the management of this facility and a smaller recreational area known as Foster Park. The Sports Complex facility encompasses approximately 70 acres of land which will include a recreational center, tennis courts and a pro-shop, baseball complex, softball complex, soccer complex, building/maintenance structures, general park amenities and grounds.

Tim is looking forward to this opportunity to develop parks and recreation for the City of Youngsville into a great organization and is very excited about the development Youngsville's premium Sports Complex.  His career in parks and recreation is a position well suited to his commitment to family, community, and most importantly the youth of our area.  Youngsville will have a showplace Sports Complex and a talented Director to ensure all future tournaments and activities are the absolute premium events.
