IberiaBank and LHC Group return as presenting co-sponsors of this inspirational event.

As we at IND Media (publishers of ABiz) celebrate a decade in the business of connecting targeted, niche, local audiences across our various print, web and event platforms, our mission statement is simple and clear. We produce content and event experiences designed to inform, engage and inspire, and there is perhaps nothing we do that fulfills the inspirational component of our mission more than the annual Women Who Mean Business Awards luncheon and ABiz feature.

The honorees are profiled in this issue of ABiz. The luncheon is slated for Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 11:30 a.m. at River Oaks Catering and Event Center. We are delighted to welcome back a group of legacy event sponsors, including IberiaBank, whose Acadiana President Jerry Vascocu notes that one of this year's honorees, Jill Butler Merkl, is a key bank employee. "We are excited to be presenting sponsor again of an event that recognizes outstanding women in Acadiana," Vascocu says. "IberiaBank applauds this year's Women Who Mean Business honorees who make significant strides in helping to make Acadiana a better place to work, live and play."

Joining IberiaBank again as a presenting co-sponsor is LHC Group, the Lafayette-based home health services giant that ranks third in gross revenues among the eight publicly traded companies that are domiciled locally. "All of us at LHC Group congratulate this year's Women Who Mean Business honorees," says LHC Chairman and CEO Keith Myers. "Across our organization, we know firsthand the tremendous value women bring to the workforce. The vast majority of our 8,500 employees are women, and we're grateful every day for the leadership they provide - both at the patient bedside and in the company boardroom."

As VIP parking sponsor, Courtesy Automotive Group will feature some of its latest models on site, along with an annual grand prize drawing that is always a crowd favorite. Paul Michael Company, the popular home furnishings, décor and accessories retailer located in River Ranch, and host venue River Oaks Catering & Event Center return as supporting sponsors. As in previous years, Paul's Jewelry will gift each honoree with a commemorative piece selected for the event.
