Doug Hall - Innovation Engineering for Business Executives Estuarine Habitats & Coastal Fisheries Center, 646 Cajundome Blvd. 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Innovation Engineering Executive Program featuring Doug Hall continues with a training program where you and your team of up to six executives learn the fundamentals of how to lead and manage innovation as a system that delivers increased speed and decreased risk.

CajunCodeFest Plenary Session: Bryan Sivak LITE, 537 Cajundome Blvd., Ste. 209 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

CajunCodeFest 3.0 is in full swing with its first Plenary Session featuring Bryan Sivak, Chief Technology Officer of US Health & Human Services, who will discuss innovation related to the festival's theme of "Aging in Place." The event is free, but registration required.

CajunCodeFest Plenary Session: Kathy Kliebert with Angelica Baltazar LITE, 537 Cajundome Blvd., Ste. 209 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Kathy Kliebert, secretary of Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals, and Angela Baltazar, global health and human services specialist with ESRI, talk about using ESRI's GIS, or geographic information systems, mapping software to understand and visualize data to track the aging population to better serve their needs. This is event is free but registration required.

INDesign Awards The Hilton, 1521 W. Pinhook Road 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Stephane Kirkland will be the keynote speaker for the 10th annual INDesign Awards, which celebrates excellence in architecture, interior design, historic preservation and urban planning in Lafayette and the five surrounding parishes. Tickets are $45 per person or $395 for a reserved table for eight.

CajunCodeFest Plenary Session: Jeff Makowka LITE, 537 Cajundome Blvd., Ste. 209 2 p.m.

Jeff Makowka, senior strategic advisor at Thought Leadership, AARP, talks about Home Health Care. This is event is free but registration required.

CajunCodeFest Plenary Session: Erica Galvez and Cindy Munn LITE, 537 Cajundome Blvd., Ste. 209 3:15 p.m.

This forum features Erica Galvez, Community of Practice Director for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, and Cindy Munn, CEO, Louisiana Health Care Quality, and serves as a neutral convener, bringing providers, purchasers, payers and consumers together to drive improvements in health care quality, safety and value for Louisiana residents. This is event is free but registration required.

LAGCOE social and spotlight on energy innovation Acadiana Center for the Arts, 101 W. Vermilion St. 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This is an after-hours event in which three companies will have the opportunity to showcase their cutting edge products in the energy industry: Cimation, 3rd Dimension Media, and C & C Technologies. Each company will be given an area to "spotlight" and/or demo their innovations. Complimentary appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available.
