Opelousas Business Incubator Open House Opelousas Business Incubator, 5367 I-49 South Service Road, Opelousas 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

St. Landry has a 10,000 sq. ft. modern facility ready to be filled by entrepreneurs and executives looking for a place to launch. Rooms are built and ready to be occupied including a 4,000 sq. ft. warehouse with loading ramp that used to be the Daily World newspaper. Come tour the facility on the 1-49 service road just 20 minutes from Lafayette.

After 27 hours of innovating, the CajunCodeFest top teams will present their five minute project pitches focusing on "Aging in Place and the Internet of Things." Award ceremony with cash and prizes to follow.

Friends of INNOV8 VIP Suite at Festival Trynd, 116 E. Vermilion St. 5:30-10:30 p.m.

The Friends of INNOV8 VIP Suite available during Festival offers: indoor and outdoor gated spaces with first and second floor patios; heavy hors d'oeuvres from Zeus Cafe and Agave Cantina, bottled water, cash bar; seating, view of Parc Sans Souci, indoor restrooms; and mobile phone charging station. FOI membership includes two Friends of INNOV8 badges, which are required for admission. Children under 12 get in free when accompanied by adult member.
