The first of a three-part series of events for women in business was hosted by the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce at The Picard Center May 20. The sold-out seminar included interactive conversations with women community leaders in business and live audience polling via web surveys designed to engage the group.
Elise Bouchner of Excelerant served as the event facilitator with brief talks from leaders Julie Simon-Dronet of Cox Acadiana, Jan Swift of Upper Lafayette Economic Development Foundation and other key women who served as table leaders for small group discussions of past experiences and goals of women in business.
Future events of this series will build on ideas and create additional opportunities for networking and mentoring. Contact the chamber to register.
