Longtime retail auto industry exec named GM and COO at Moss Motors
Wayne Skinner
Wayne Skinner, who has more than 30 years of experience in the retail automotive industry, has joined Moss Motors as general manager and COO. From 2002 until April of this year, he was operations director and COO at Premier Automotive Group in New Orleans.
Skinner has worked in every position in an automobile dealership from technician to GM, having managed operations for up to 20 franchise dealerships, concentrating on the sales, service, parts, collision center, finance and accounting department. His experience includes financial statement analysis, organizational behavior, organizational structure, organizational communication and conflict management.
He also has traveled extensively across North America as a management consultant analyzing small businesses across a wide range of industries. He has a bachelor's degree in management and an MBA from UNO.
In his new role, Skinner is responsible for Moss Motors' three automobile dealerships and three pre-owned vehicle lots.
