Bacon and egg flatbread from Social

A first glance of the bacon and egg flatbread you'll be reminded of a fresh baked pizza, but this is more about a rustic dish utilizing Benton's bacon, leeks, Manchego cheese, a garlic confit and local quail eggs. The smoked flavors of bacon and the creamy egg and cheese create an intense bite of rich flavor. Pair this dish with the Social wedge salad and you have the perfect light meal for two at the bar - don't forget to add on a cocktail like a cool glass of Creek Water.

Something new at Social is its farmers market being hosted on Tuesday evenings from 3-7 p.m. It's open to the public and features growers from Up to Grow Good and Cenla Farms.

Don't miss the EatLafayette special on Social's menu - a two-course dinner with a choice of soup or salad and surf and turf of a four ounce petit filet and smoked shrimp and Gouda mashed potatoes for $29.
