Wunderlich picks Lafayette for 1st La. office

The Memphis based investment firm Wunderlich recently arrived in Louisiana with the opening of a wealth management branch in Lafayette.

The Memphis based investment firm Wunderlich recently arrived in Louisiana with the opening of a wealth management branch in Lafayette.

According to a press release announcing the new office, the company has named Kevin Gayle Jr., an industry veteran, with overseeing its first entrance into the Louisiana market, naming him Managing Director of the Lafayette office.

The new office, located at 101 Settlers Trace Blvd., marks the opening of Wunderlich's 31st office nationwide.

"I look forward to working with [Gayle] to grow the firm's presence in Lousiana," Wunderlich President James Parrish Jr. says in a prepared statement. "His strong leadership ability will be instrumental in our efforts to further expand our wealth management team."

Gayle, a Finance grad from UL Lafayette, has worked more than 13 years in the financial services industry, working for both Raymond James and Morgan Keegan.

"Wunderlich felt like the right place for me, and I'm excited to be a part of the firm's growth plans," says Gayle. "Wunderlich is able to provide the technology and capabilities of a major firm, but with a regional firm culture that allows advisors the flexibility to truly be responsive to their clients' needs."
