Bach is back!

Well, almost; it fires up March 6 with its best lineup yet of indigenous music at Parc Sans Souci.

The spring 2015 Bach Lunch concert series lineup is out. It’s a doozy, chockablock full of some of the best, most authentic indigenous music groups in Acadiana beginning on March 6 with traditional season opener Les Freres Michot, a Cajun band that is as old-school as it gets.

Held beginning at noon on Fridays in Parc Sans Souci Downtown, Bach Lunch is a biannual fundraiser for the Lafayette Science Museum. The concert series is free and attendees are encouraged to buy box lunches provided by local restaurants. The music begins at noon and goes until 1 p.m.; concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early for lunch as supplies are limited.
