POLITICO ON JINDAL'S COMMITTEE
MAY 19 Here's the Politico post on Bobby Jindal's announcement that he's formed an exploratory committee to help him "decide" if he's going to run for president. The good news for Bobby is, they waited seven grafs before getting into the reality of Jindal's lack of traction anywhere, any time, with anyone. But listen, who's on this committee? The Easter Bunny? Can he read a poll? Because somebody needs to.

BR BLOGGER ON UPCOMING FOOD NETWORK STAR
MAY 19 Jay Ducote, who writes the Booze and Bites blog that appears in DIG Baton Rouge, is a contestant on the Next Food Network Star show, this post on the network's blog tells us. But we digress -- good luck Jay!

MAY 19 Blogger CB Forgotston is giving us a history lesson - and a political science lesson well. The Legislature's fiscal office isn't operating as it should, he says. (Well, duh - did a $1.6 billion deficit slip past 'em?)
