Featured mentors will include startup experts like Cian Robinson of LGMC Foundation, Business Coach Joel Dawson, Zach Barker of the Opportunity Machine and others.

Professional training on how to attract investors in 60 seconds or less will be given by award-winning speaker Joel Dawson, resident adviser for the Opportunity Machine, who will provide practice-pitch trainees years of insight and advice on improving their elevator pitch including topics ranging from improving non-verbal communication skills to public speaking techniques.

Barker will also provide invaluable feedback to 60-second pitch participants and audience members.

Robinson will lend his decades of investment experience as well as insight from his time as director of the LGMC Foundation where he was responsible for a $2.5 million health care fund to seek investment opportunities.

The INNOV8 G60 Practice Pitch Event is free and open to participants and audience members of all ages, industries and levels. It's from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Jefferson Street Pub, located at 500 Jefferson St. Downtown.
