A DIY lovers dream arrives March 5 and 6 at the Cajundome Convention Center when the annual Home & Lifestyle Show kicks off. From projects small and simple to repainting, full renovations and building your dream home from the ground up, the annual show from the Acadian Home Builders Association features more than 100 exhibitors and a lineup of educational seminars to guide your vision.

There is something for everyone at the 2016 Home & Lifestyle Show. View The Independent's comprehensive guide to the show here. You can also pick up a copy of the guide in The Independent’s March issue, which publishes Tuesday.

“This is the only place you will find everything you need for your home improvement projects all under one roof,” says AHBA President David Anderson.

AHBA has hosted the show for more than six decades and continues to expand the show offerings with diverse options like a 5K run for local shelter-related charities and cooking demos along with more traditional exhibits for builders, security, financing and even pest control.

“The Home & Lifestyle Show features a wealth of products and services to help turn your house into a dream home. Whether you¹re just thinking of repainting one room or wanting to remodel your entire kitchen, I encourage you to visit us,” says April Becquet, chair of The Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show.
