Fans of local American Idol contestant MacKenzie Bourg are organizing a homecoming celebration for his hometown visit this Saturday in Downtown Lafayette.
Bourg’s fans as well as the community at large are invited to this event, which is organized by the city of Lafayette and supporting agencies. Bourg will be in Lafayette on Saturday, March 26 for a 5 p.m. downtown parade on Jefferson Street with a concert immediately following the parade at Parc International.
Fans are also encouraged to vote for Bourg–who has now made it into the coveted Top 5 performers–on Thursday night’s airing of American Idol at 7 p.m. central on FOX.
