Leadership Lafayette seeks next class

Applications are now available for the 30th Leadership Lafayette class. Roughly two dozen applicants are selected annually for the 10-month training initiative. The 2017 class will meet January through October for lectures, a retreat, field trips and other opportunities to learn the fine points of leadership. Topics include education, economic development, law enforcement, health care, social services, the arts and local history.

A partnership among the Leadership Institute of Acadiana, One Acadiana, Junior Leadership Lafayette and Into Lafayette, Leadership Lafayette has graduated more than 650 local participants who rank among the area’s CEOs, elected officials, executive directors and community-engaged citizens.

Applications are available at the Leadership Institute of Acadiana’s website and are due by Oct. 28. For more information, visit the website or send an email inquiry to [email protected].
