Kevin Latiolais, who joined MidSouth Bank 27 years ago and has been serving as a regional president since early 2012, has been promoted to Louisiana State President, a new position at the bank.

Latiolais will lead all of the bank’s statewide operations, focusing primarily on business development and commercial relationships, which have been the foundation of his successful banking career.

“Kevin has been a steady, effective leader of our Acadiana region over the past five years, living out the bank’s values of honesty, efficiency, loyalty and personal accountability on a daily basis,” MidSouth Bank President and CEO Troy Cloutier said in announcing the promotion. “This position was created with him in mind because we are confident every employee throughout our statewide franchise can benefit from his leadership and vast knowledge of banking, particularly the key role banks play in our local communities.”

A Breaux Bridge native and resident of Youngsville, Latiolais began his career at Lafayette-based MidSouth Bank in 1989, working for the bank while attending UL Lafayette and serving in the Louisiana National Guard.

Latiolais earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from UL and is a master graduate of Rapport Leadership International.
