Two men who are accustomed to the public spotlight are heading to court, but it's over a private matter. In Baton Rouge, according to The Advocate, WAFB's 10 p.m. anchor André Moreau is suing state Rep. Erich Ponti.
Moreau has filed a claim against Ponti for renovations done to a house he recently bought from the legislator. Moreau contends that there were plumbing problems with the house - not properly repaired by Ponti's Accent Construction Services - that lead to further damages. Moreau is suing for $3,000 in damages, and Ponti is countersuing for $3,000.
Moreau is also the brother of East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Doug Moreau.
