Fest Faves: Festival App now applicable

by Dominick Cross

The mobile app is an electronic guide and a one-stop shop for all things Festival.

We wrote about this not too long ago, but the time is nigh to get in gear, technologically speaking, for Festival International de Lousiane, which runs through Sunday, April 29, all over downtown Lafayette.

And all that means is that the official free Festival iPhone and Android Mobile App is now available, thanks to Seed Labs out of Austin.

The mobile app is an electronic guide and a one-stop shop for all things Festival. With the app, you can find out when your favorite bands are playing, create your own Festival schedule, read about all of the bands playing at Festival, listen to Festival radio courtesy of Slacker Radio, watch a video and even navigate your way around downtown Lafayette.

Go here to learn more about the apps or search Festival International de Louisiane from iTunes and Android Market.

The features include:

Full lineup: See every artist and where he is playing. Add filters by day and/or stage to drill down to what you want to see. Sort by name or time in any view. Add or remove artists from your schedule with one touch.

My Schedule: See your customized schedule organized by day and remove artists with a single touch.

Schedule Sync: Synchronize your schedule between your phone and our website.

News and media: Be the first to know what's happening for Festival with live updates from Festival's Facebook and Twitter integration: Post photos and status updates and view Festival artists inside the app.

And new this year:
