Creative Action's second annual creative economy symposium, CE.2: The Power of Creativity, will be held from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday at the Acadiana Center for the Arts downtown. That's a lot of creativity!

A host of activities are planned for the event including workshop, an interactive panel discussion and keynote speech by Dr. Gerar Edizel titled "A Genealogy of the Artist and Art." Edizel is a professor of art history at the prestigious School of Art & Design at Alfred University, part of the State University of New York system.

The workshops offered during CE.2 are: On Becoming a Full-Time Music Professional - Danny Devillier (1-2 p.m.), Starting a Small Business Toolkit - Robert J. Wilson (1-2 p.m.),  Intellectual Property Bradley Black(2-3 p.m.), Fine Arts Portfolio Review (2-4 p.m.) and Grant Writing - Gwen Richard (3-4 p.m.). Registration for the workshops is $10.
