Landry elected to Women's Caucus

The caucus monitors issues, policies and legislation that impact women in the state.

State Rep. Nancy Landry, R-Lafayette, is one of seven lawmakers representing both chambers of the Legislature elected to the Legislative Women's Caucus for the 2012-2013 year. The caucus monitors issues, policies and legislation that impact women in the state. Landry will serve as parliamentarian for the group. Rep. Karen St. Germain will serve as the group's chair. Another Acadiana lawmaker, Rep. Ledricka Johnson Theirry, will serve as treasurer.
