Tipitina's Co-Op Lafayette is rolling out yet another of its free summer workshops today with How to Organize Your Edits In Final Cut Pro.

Local film aficionado and freelance video editor extraordinaire Misty Talley will walk students through her techniques of how to organize and efficiently manage time while working on a Final Cut Pro project. Her workshop will also go over how to prep hard drives, logging your work, marinating the order of your projects and how to prepare and deliver the project for the next step in the editing process.

This workshop is great for those just feeling their way around the program as well as those who may be a bit more seasoned with its use but are still looking for a fresh perspective.

Tipitina's also offers membership for $10 a month, which grants access to its many resources including office space, Pro Tools LE, Adobe Suite, Reason and of course Final Cut Pro.

This hour-long workshop begins tonight at 6 p.m. at Tipitina's Co-Op Lafayette, 203 Jefferson St. You can find Tipitna's on Facebook for updates on upcoming workshops and events by clicking here. For more information on how to apply for membership call 534-0951 or email Rachel Nederveld at [email protected].
