Dish of the Day: Poor Boy's Riverside Inn and Little River Inn's grilled flounder

by Katie Macdonald

Two locations, one great dish: the whole grilled flounder is available from either Broussard's Riverside Inn or New Iberia's Little River Inn. For $17.25, the entire flounder is grilled to perfection and accompanied by a green salad and choice of potato. Mention EatLafayette until Aug. 15 and receive a free order of Crabbies - six crunchy French bread squares topped with a cheesy crabmeat topping then baked until bubbly - and sweet potato beignets with the purchase of two regularly priced entrées.
Poor Boy's Riverside Inn is located on 240 Tubing Road in Broussard and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For many of the same great food items at a different location, Little River Inn is located at 833 E. Main St. in New Iberia.
