Maybe it was merely the Romney campaign's way of diverting attention from his overseas gaffes - questioning the Brits' Olympics readiness, praising Israel's socialized health care system - but the former Massachusetts governor's advisor in charge of selecting a running mate has named Gov. Bobby Jindal among a baker's dozen candidates on the short list for vice president.
In a pair of tweets Friday night, Romney aide Beth Myers dropped the names of 13 GOP celebrities, Jindal among them, being considered as a running mate:
