TRN points to a precedent: a change made to then-Sen. Joe Biden's website on the day in 2008 that he was selected as Barack Obama's running mate. Evidently, it is customary in this digital age to alter the websites of VP selections to make them comport thematically and visually with their respective presidential candidates' websites.
