Deadline for tickets for the fourth annual ABiz Top 50 Luncheon is Thursday, Aug. 16, but sales already top all previous years and continue to climb. The annual luncheon honors Acadiana's 50 largest privately held companies, ranked by gross revenues in 2011, along with the eight publicly traded corporations domiciled in our region. The Top 50 list and analysis were published in ABiz on July 25 (available online at www.acadianabusiness.com).

Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning author Steve Coll will be keynote speaker before the record crowd. His current book Private Empire: Exxon Mobil and American Power is earning accolades from critics across the globe, and copies will be available for sale and signing at the event, courtesy of Barnes & Noble.

Table sponsors include Fire & Safety Specialists and Alford, Staples, Lapeyre & Robichaux.
