Street Style

by Amanda Bedgood

Sarah Dake, a UL student and style maven, in a Viereck dress in a tribal print with a slouchy cardi and flat sandals. Her look, head to toe Vanessa V. Boutique, is light enough for late summer and transitions into fall with a simple boot or leggings. As temperatures cool and fall arrives, Sarah says she'll be living in tunics with leggings and boots.

Christine Doucet in a denim vest, colored jeans and neon necklace brings three trends into one outfit. Each piece can also work into fall. Her neon necklace that will pair perfectly with a simple dress is from Hemline. Her mile high heels from Juju's are a go-to in her closet. And her new denim vest will pair well with maxi dresses come fall.

Jessica Linders embodies the downtown girl vibe in her pale denim, bright tank, funky shoes and handmade bag. The self-proclaimed starving artist who waits tables at French Press finds most of her pieces from local resale stores. Her shoes are a Salvation Army find, while her high-waisted jeans are from Goodwill.
