by Walter Pierce

The anticipation is killing us. The two Ds in DND - multi-instrumentalists Danny Devillier (Fights, Bonsoir Catin) and Dallas Griffith (Fights, ImagineIAM) are bringing a new musical concept to the Blue Moon Saloon Thursday night: mystery performers. They're calling it DND & The Mystery 3, natch.

The wheel thing: Dallas Griffith, left, and Danny Devillier

The anticipation is killing us. The two Ds in DND - multi-instrumentalists Danny Devillier (Fights, Bonsoir Catin) and Dallas Griffith (Fights, ImagineIAM) are bringing a new musical concept to the Blue Moon Saloon Thursday night: mystery performers. They're calling it DND & The Mystery 3, natch.

Here's how it works: Each surprise guest is invited to join Dallas and Danny separately on stage for three original, pre-rehearsed songs, forming a "trio of the moment" and offering the musically adventurous crowd a chance to hear some cool new music that's never been performed before and may never be performed again. Free kazoos will be handed out to the first 50 people through the door. After the DND & The Mystery Three performance, everyone will hang around a continue drinking beer and congratulating the musicians on their wonderful performance before rounding up their designated drivers and heading home.

Admission is $6, which is cheap, kids. Matt Roberts, famed former front man for Matt Rock & The Power Box, will open the show with an acoustic performance.
