The Feed & Seed community arts center retuns this weekend for its fall concert series featuring performances from The Mercy Brothers, Jefferey Broussard & The Creole Cowboys and The Wild Magnolias Mardi Gras Indians.
The Feed & Seed will be reopening its doors after its summer-long hiatus this weekend for its fall season featuring performances from both local and regional acts.
Wild Magnolia Mardi Gras Indians
The Mercy Brothers will be front and center for this fall's season opener Thursday night when Katherine Kirkpatrick opens for them followed on Friday with a performance by Jefferey Broussard and The Creole Cowboys. And on Saturday, New Orleans folk phenoms The Wild Magnolia Mardi Gras Indians headline with A Funk Band Named Machete and The Louisiana House Rockers.
The downtown community arts center, i.e. not a bar/club, is tailored specifically towards the musically smitten as its motto suggests: "Built by musicians for music lovers." But don't fret, a cash bar will be serving adult beverages throughout this season's concert series.
Admission for Thursday and Friday's show is $10 with Saturday's big perfromance setting you back $20. Doors open at 7 p.m. For more information check out the Feed & Seed on Facebook here.
