Citing sources, Daily Report says Jindal's former chief of staff will be special counsel and director of the New Orleans-based firm's multi-state governmental relations practice.
In a breaking news item Wednesday morning, Daily Report says Gov. Bobby Jindal's former chief of staff, Stephen Waguespack, who resigned his post in early October, is joining the Jones Walker law firm. The New Orleans-based firm, which has a Lafayette office, has more than 375 attorneys in Louisiana, Alabama, Arizona, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New York and Texas.
Citing sources, the online news sources says Jones Walker is expected to formally announce the move later today. A voice message left with the New Orleans office was not immediately returned.
